Jerome P. Nachlis, CPA, CGMA began his consulting practice in 2004 and reformulated the entity in 2020 to JPN Advisory Services, LLC (JPN Advisory). Jerome most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, a leading nonprofit with over $65 million in annual revenue and investments in excess of $350 million.

JPN Advisory provides nonprofits and for-profit small businesses with financial guidance, process reviews and general business advisory services to drive long-term sustainability, develop and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs), discover efficiencies in processing data, assist in systems implementations, help reduce costs and provide innovative alternatives to long-standing concerns or issues.

JPN Advisory will be Your Go To CFO Advisor supporting Executive Directors, CEOs, Presidents and Boards of Directors for entities who cannot support a full-time Chief Financial Officer or need to augment their current team with a skilled additional resource with a proven track record.

 About Jerome P. Nachlis, CPA, CGMA

Jerome is a business executive with a CPA, CGMA and over 30 years of professional experience in a variety of industries.  He has proven his business acumen in the areas of operations, finance, human resources, IT, and general management in both corporate and Nonprofit sectors. He has been a successful strategist and leader in the turnaround of fiscally and culturally challenged businesses, has built cross-functional teams, and developed significant partnerships within organizations between core business functions (including finance, development, programming, sales, marketing, engineering, operations, and maintenance).  His responsibilities have included finance, accounting, information technology, human resources, customer service, planning, logistics, shipping and procurement. He has implemented ERP and CRM information systems and re-engineered processes such as finance, supply chain, warehousing and facilities management. 

Most recently, Jerome served as the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, a nonprofit umbrella organization that serves the greater Philadelphia area, overseas and Israel in the areas of Social Responsibility, Jewish Education and Community Engagement. Mission-driven deliverables included providing financial support for food insecurity, supporting the aging to remain in their homes and promoting Jewish identity and connectivity. Jewish Federation raised $65M annually and had $350M of investments. His diverse responsibilities included Finance, Treasury, IT, HR and Real Estate while managing 6 Board standing committees.

Prior to Jewish Federation, he worked for Cosmo Films, Inc. a manufacturer and distributor of thermal laminate films throughout the world with corporate headquarter in Delhi, India and its US Corporate office in New Castle, Delaware.  He joined as their Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer after the acquisition of General Binding Corporation and oversaw the Financial, Administrative and Human Resource activities for North and South America.  

Jerome was also an entrepreneur in the direct sale uniform business. He was the President of ImageFirst Professional Apparel, a direct sale uniform company which also supported clients with Ad Specialty products. He led this business for two years during which time sales increased by 20% each year, operating expenses were reduced by 30%, cash flow improved and on time deliveries increased by 20%. Ultimately, the company was sold as part of the stakeholders exit strategy. Prior to taking the position of President of the direct sale business, Jerome was the CFO for the ImageFirst group of businesses which included a franchising entity, 6 uniform rental and healthcare laundry partnerships and the direct sale uniform business. As CFO he transitioned the financial role from a Controllership function to a business partner and CFO/Strategist role while focused on improved profitability and increased cash flow from all operations.

Mr. Nachlis has also worked for E.I. DuPont on the corporate accounting and reporting staff of INVISTA prior to its sale to Koch Industries. Additionally, he enjoyed time as the CFO of ACTIV-e Solutions (a technology VAR) and as General Manager of their most profitable business unit. Early on in his career he worked for twelve years with Campbell Soup Company and began his career with KPMG.

Mr. Nachlis has served on numerous Boards in his community including the United Way of New Jersey, Jewish Federation of Delaware, Jewish Family Services of Delaware and Toledo, Ohio, Congregation Beth Shalom and the Siegel JCC.  He is a graduate of Wilkes University and resides with his family in Wilmington, Delaware.
